Overview

LATE NIGHT GO-TO is a Filipino restaurant nestled in the heart of Winnipeg, offering a warm refuge for night owls craving authentic Filipino flavors. Located on Sargent Avenue, this spot captures the essence of the late-night street food scene in Manila, making it a true gem for those looking to reconnect with tastes from home or explore bold, comforting dishes.

The restaurant’s crown jewel is its Goto Pork Tofu and Rice Soup, a soul-soothing staple that combines tender pork, silky tofu, and savory rice in a rich broth. This dish blends the simplicity of home cooking with a depth of flavor that invites you to linger over each spoonful. For those seeking heartier fare, the beef and lechon pares mami soups stand out, offering hearty, fragrant bowls loaded with tender meat and fresh noodles. These dishes echo traditional recipes without shortcuts, satisfying cravings for authenticity.

LATE NIGHT GO-TO thrives in delivering an experience that transcends food. The vibrant atmosphere mirrors a casual tapsilogan, complete with friendly service that enhances the feeling of community. Customers praise the quick and attentive delivery, making it as convenient as it is comforting, especially during late hours when options grow sparse. Whether it’s the hefty portions of sizzling sisig or the addictively crispy isaw snacks, each bite is a nod to Filipino street food culture.

This place is tailored for anyone seeking genuine Filipino comfort, from nostalgic locals and immigrants to curious food enthusiasts. The late-night operating hours give it a niche appeal, filling a gap in Winnipeg’s dining scene for those hungry after hours, whether it’s a cold winter night or an unexpectedly long work shift. Overall, LATE NIGHT GO-TO offers more than just a meal; it delivers familiarity, warmth, and a sense of belonging wrapped in every bowl and plate.

I haven't had mami for like 3 years and I'm glad i found their restaurant in UberEats. The lechon pares was so good, nothing special about the mami, it was okay. Kudos, the service and delivery was so fast tho.

Perfect comfort food on a cold Winnipeg night. Warm, flavorful, generous serving, and friendly service even late! Could use a little more toppings — but overall, solid and satisfying! Will definitely be back!

Thursday at 1 am is extremely hard to find something open for soup and this place hit the spot. As an out-of-towner...thanks for filling me up when the only other solution for Winnipeg is junk food at this hour. I made the trip even when my hotel was downtown.

First time trying Goto and it was quite delicious. Got the beef pares goto loaded ($18.99). There are smaller and cheaper portions too with less topping but you can always add more toppings.
